Cancer Research Interest
- Disease Site Focus: Breast
- Research Focus Area: Treatment
- Type of Research: Translational
- Research Keywords: Breast Cancer, Wnt signaling, Ca2+ signaling, Tumor microenvironment, Metastasis, Drug resistance
- Research Interest Statement: My research trajectory has been focused on understanding complex signaling pathways in development and disease. My current research focuses on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of Wnt/calcium signaling in mammary gland development, breast cancer metastasis, and therapeutic resistance. By integrating mouse models, organoid systems, advanced imaging, and single-cell/spatial transcriptomics, I aim to uncover novel therapeutic targets in breast and related cancers. My long-term research program is dedicated to deciphering this mechanism and identifying novel therapeutic vulnerabilities within the Wnt/calcium signaling network in cancers.
