Cancer Research Interest
- Disease Site Focus: Prostate
- Research Focus Area: Prevention, Detection, Carcinogenesis, Informatics, Diagnosis/ Prognosis
- Type of Research: Translational
- Research Keywords: Endocrine-disrupting chemicals, multi-omics, epigenomics, metabolomics, biomarker discovery, environmental carcinogenesis, prostate cancer
- Research Interest Statement: My research investigates how environmental exposures, particularly endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs), influence cancer risk and progression, with a primary focus on prostate cancer. By integrating toxicogenomic, epigenomic, transcriptomic, and metabolomic data, I aim to move beyond epidemiological associations to uncover the biological mechanisms through which EDCs dysregulate key biological pathways relevant to cancer initiation and progression. A central goal of my work is to identify exposure-related molecular signatures that support early detection, risk stratification, and prevention. I am also committed to open and reproducible science and to developing bioinformatics tools and resources that advance collaborative, translational, and environmentally informed cancer research.
