Research Interest Statement: My cancer research focus in improving the selectivity of cancer therapies by reducing damage to normal tissues during radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The work centers on lipid-based bioactive compounds as selective radioprotective and chemoprotective agents, with an emphasis on understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms that differentiate responses in cancer versus healthy cells. Using well-controlled in vitro models, imaging-based assays, and quantitative analyses, the research examines stress signaling, membrane dynamics, and intracellular pathways that influence therapeutic outcomes. By integrating mechanistic biology with pharmacology and advanced delivery strategies, this work aims to support more effective and less toxic cancer treatments.
