Cancer Research Interest
- Disease Site Focus: Breast, Hematologic Malignancies, GI
- Research Focus Area: Prevention, Treatment
- Type of Research: Translational
- Research Keywords: Malignant, Metastasis, Taxicology, prevention
- Research Interest Statement: My research focuses on exploring medicinal plants and nanotechnology-based approaches for cancer prevention and therapy, with an emphasis on triple-negative breast cancer. I have investigated the bioactive properties of plants such as Allium eriophyllum, Gundelia tournefortii, and Falcaria vulgaris, demonstrating their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer potential. Recent work includes the green synthesis of nickel nanoparticles from Alhagi sparsifolia with anti-breast carcinoma activity, as well as studies on plant-based extracts that promote wound healing and exhibit cytotoxic effects against cancer cells. This integrated approach aims to identify and develop plant-derived compounds as affordable, effective, and accessible cancer therapeutics.
