Cancer Research Interest
- Disease Site Focus: No Specific Disease Site
- Research Focus Area: Prevention
- Type of Research: Translational
- Research Keywords: implementation science
- Research Interest Statement: My interest is to support other researchers at UAMS, many junior, in their implementation science proposals focus in the areas of cancer prevention and control. I am a sociologist by training who directs the UAMS Center for Implementation Research. I have mentored 2 investigators to NCI funding in implementation research, and I will continue to try to build implementation science capacity in cancer at UAMS.
