Cancer Research Interest
- Disease Site Focus: Pediatric Oncology
- Research Focus Area: Prevention
- Type of Research: Population Sciences
- Research Keywords: pediatric
- Research Interest Statement: My cancer research projects have primarily focused on risk of cancer among children born with birth defects. One of the main risk factors for developing pediatric cancer is being born with a birth defect. Little is understood about this relationship thus we conducted one of the largest studies to examine this relationship. Four publications resulted from this multi-site collaboration. I am also interested in risk of cancer and other chronic conditions among women.
