- Research Interest Statement: My overall research interests are in developing and utilizing non-invasive quantitative optical methods to characterize the spatiotemporal patterns of disease progression and tissue repair processes. My research lab is currently utilizing label-free multiphoton microscopy to obtain high-resolution 3D images of cell metabolism and extracellular matrix organization. We also develop and implement a variety of advanced image analysis techniques to characterize the organization of the extracellular matrix, inter-cellular arrangement and morphology, as well as subcellular organelle distributions within cells. We are interested in applying these imaging and analysis techniques to various collaborative cancer research projects.
