Cancer Research Interest
- Disease Site Focus: Brain, Breast, Gynecology, Leukemia/ Lymphoma
- Research Focus Area: Carcinogenesis
- Type of Research: Basic
- Research Interest Statement: We study essential proteins involved in DNA repair processes. Using fragment-based and computer-aided drug designtechniques, we are developing small molecule inhibitors and chemical tool compounds of these essential proteins to provide agreater understanding of the mechanisms of DNA repair processes and of chemotherapeutic drug resistance. Obtain access to institute supported resources to facilitate research program. Meet additional investigators with common interest to development potential collaborations.
